Job summary: Working closely to support the summitSECURITY Manager and a team of peers, the incumbent will work with a team of experts at diverse clientele of the firm in cyber security, data collection, analysis and reporting. The role is highly analytical requiring data advanced skills in programming and networking as a foundation for delivering penetration testing services. The ideal candidate holds a first-class degree in information systems and is very good with handling very large data sets from third party applications like banking, telecoms, microfinance, and insurance among others as well as understands open source intelligence and data analytics. This is a premium job as it offers high-growth career prospects in cyber security and IT governance. As a consultant, you will work at different clients and this will give you lots of exposure to challenging scenarios and offer opportunities for intellectual and career growth in our cyber security business line.

Key Duties and Result Areas:  
a)	Conduct ICT security vulnerability assessments at diverse sites to test their applications
b)	Work as a cyber security intelligence researcher to collect data about common attack vectors, analyze it and write reports for our customers to show the state of cyber resiliency of our clients
c)	Lead the delivery of IT governance reviews and security assessments against regulatory agreed upon procedures (AUP); leading practices like COSOII, ISO27001; ITIL; COBIT; OWASP and similar ICT standards and frameworks  
d)	Make presentations at clients’ sites on the work done
e)	Contribute in developing business plans and strategies that are aligned to the organizational revenue and sustainability plans
f)	Undertake prospects follows up and provide business deal closes satisfactorily in ways where customers are retained, and services satisfaction levels improved subsequently, and payment are received on time
g)	Help the summitSECURITY Manager in managing the diverse stakeholders, including where delegated, represent the manager at stakeholder meetings to ensure that all key business requests and needs are attended to on a timely and professional manner, with feedback and customer complaints effectively handled.
h)	Support summitSECURITY Manager to source and coordinate project proposals writing and bids submissions, contract management and any other business-related documents for the portfolio
i)	Prepare and submit monthly performance issues, prospects and plans of action 
j)	Handle any project or role that may be delegated to the incumbent from time to time, including preparing client reports, technical presentations and clients briefs quality control to promote the profile of the company
k)	Manage the summit security training unit, including developing of training courses, course outlines and provide timely reports of work done for effective accountability
l)	Undertake ongoing studies and reading to develop skills and career as the best cyber security professional in the region

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
a)	The ICT Security Researcher must at minimum have 
i.	Holder of first or second class upper degree in information and communication technology; with strong grasp of programming and computer networking skills. Holders of a professional qualification in networking like CCNA will be an added advantage. 
ii.	Must have passed Ordinary and Advanced levels with distinction 
iii.	Very conversant with data analytics tools like Microsoft Excel’s Power Pivot and knows MS Excel at advanced level or willing to learn and improve on skills
iv.	Is willing to enroll for further studies in cyber security and data science to deepen skills and understanding; as well as undertake intensive guided on-line courses to up skills to enable competitiveness in this environment
v.	Strong presentation skills and or is willing to be trained so that he can train colleagues and or clients.
b)	Computer literacy with very good knowledge of MS Office applications 
c)	Good report writing, presentation and speaking skills.
d)	Highly flexible, innovative, a team player, with good communication, feedback, and interpersonal and supervisory skills and able to work with a multi-cultural team within the organization.
e)	Ability to delegate clearly and have flair for attention to detail.
f)	Very good work ethics and respects colleagues especially able to work under tight timelines for client project deliveries

III.	Pitching Summit Business Intelligence Products and/or Services to clients, organisations and other markets;
a.	Developing compelling Powerpoint presentations, brochures on summit Business solutions and trainings, building posters and sales displays for e-mail, conferences and client visits_generating a full marketing kit.
b.	Contacting existing clientele to inform them of upcoming, new developments and cutting-edge solutions on Summit Business Intelligence solutions and Trainings.
c.	Developing quotes and proposals in response to a request for quote and response for proposal in the shortest turnaround time possible.
d.	Negotiating, and renegotiating with clients and potential leads by e-mail, phone and in person where need be to ensure you close as many deals as you can on consultancy and training projects of summit Business Intelligence solutions and training.
e.	Recruiting and/or outsourcing marketing of different events, solutions and trainings to the most efficient team so as to ensure monthly marketing targets are met.
IV.	Preparing, Organising and Coordinating Monthly Business Intelligence Training both at the Institute of Forensics and ICT Security and In-house (at the clients’ preferred location)
a.	Generate an annual training calendar merged with the entire summitAdvisory departmental calendar. Share this calendar with all existing, and potential leads and advise them accordingly.
b.	Ensure the required target number of projects is achieved within the specified period of achievement and all clients are satisfied with the training by acquiring their testimonials both written and recorded.
c.	Organise the venue and premises of the planned training and conference events by ensuring all training material, refreshments and coverage satisfies the clientele.
d.	Follow-up on local purchase orders before trainings, Invoices after trainings and corresponding payments.
V.	Acquiring testimonials from new, and previous clients whose testimonials are yet to be acquired. Also, end of project assessments to ensure the client is satisfied.
VI.	Be able to assist in any other business development project in the company especially in upcoming conferences and events.
 
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
The Business Development Professional must at minimum have;
I.	First or Second-Class Upper degree in marketing, journalism, social science, business or in a relevant field with strong understanding in Business to Business Sales and negotiation. A strong track record in B2B is an added advantage.
II.	Excellent verbal and written communication skills and is able to pitch a product or service in a conference room of executives and top professionals.

Job Description

Summit Consulting Ltd's IFRS Advisory Service Line with strong expertise in business intelligence and data analytics, strategy and risk management capabilities, have a unique requirement for a Manager level Project Management or Risk Management to play a critical part in their regional IFRS9 & IFRS 16 delivery. 

The key focus for this role will be on IFRS9 Impairment requirements on the provision numbers for over 10 of our current bank clients; as well as IFRS 16 and IFRS 17 service delivery, among other roles of implementing new standards. You will be focusing on regional level (the EAC). You will work across business lines and geographies. You will also have a crucial part in the different proposed methodological options that are being considered for the IFRS 9 Impairment requirements as well as IFRS 16.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an established IFRS 9 subject matter expert to apply their knowledge at this leading consulting firm in Uganda in the areas of custom client solutions in business modelling and IFRS implementation support. Key responsibilities will include: 

1) Develop a balanced approach to assess the impact of IFRS 9 Impairment requirements on our clients as well as offer on-going support 

2) Implement the provision impact methodology including data gathering process and quantitative approach 

3) Develop and implement an impact assessment analysis structure including specific sub-portfolio impact assessment (business lines, geographies). 

4) Assess the volatility of IFRS 9 Impairment methodological options and communicate results with the methodology teams 

5) Assess country specific methodological requirements for IFRS 9 Impairment program. Support countries in the delivery of their methodology with special focus on Kenya and Uganda; by understanding central bank regulatory requirements to ease compliance for client banks

4) Management of a small team of individuals (4 staff initially) in the delivery of the responsibilities as well as management of key stakeholders in the delivery of the assessment and communication of the results to senior management 

5) Develop a communication program linked to the Financial Impact assessment
6) Provide on-going support to specific clients to help them comply fully with all requirements of the regulators as and well they are issued so as to keep the clients fully compliant

7) Make presentations to clients 

8) Work closely with the summit business intelligence and data analytics team to guide on developing custom models that speak to the clients business for swift compliance 

9) Publish on-going position papers, blog articles and IFRS briefs to provide to clients to keep them up to date with new changes in the standards

10) Publish the annual state of IFRS compliance in Uganda following an annual survey of all clients; including making clear recommendations on how to improve the compliance by financial institutions

11) Be a champion of all IFRS standards specifically IFRS9, 16, 17 and other new ones


Skills Required: 

Post graduate degree in Finance, Accounting or risk management 
Very good understanding of IFRS 9 Impairment requirements and PD,LGD, EAD models concepts; as well as IFRS 16, IFRS 17 and other new standards
Experience in project delivery 
Very good understanding of wholesale banking products and familiarity with retail banking products 
Strong analytical and conceptualisation skills, with a view to adopting or establishing industry best practices; prior participation in risk-related FIA initiatives would be an added advantage 
Strong inter-personal and communication skills to work effectively with stakeholders from different functions; comfortable in building relationships at various levels and across geographies
Self-motivated person with a high level of drive, dedication and desire to excel consistently 
Focused and organised, with ability to prioritise and deliver effectively
Strong understanding of MS Excel and Power Pivot; as well as modelling skills

Job purpose
In this role, the candidate will manage and execute a comprehensive video content strategy to drive awareness, traffic, engagement and sales across channels and play a big role in growing our brand. 

He/she will not only build on our current video ad strategy, but lead the development of videos that tell our brand story and engage with our community. This will be a full-time hire for the right fit and performance based. 

Key responsibilities and Tasks:
1.	Photography and video production
2.	Photo and video editing 
3.	Audio recording, editing and publishing
4.	Use of adobe products - InDesign, Photoshop, Adobe Studio etc. to publish
5.	Updating of videos on YouTube and other social networks
6.	Develop and execute a strong video aesthetic for our brand,

Required Skills:

4.	A minimum of 2 years’ experience in editing, production, digital video/journalism

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
a)	The Statistician and Data Modelling Consultant must at minimum have 
i.	Holder of first or second class upper degree in Statistics, mathematics or informatics 
ii.	Must have passed Ordinary and Advanced levels with distinction 
iii.	Very conversant with data analytics tools like Microsoft Excel’s Power Pivot and knows MS Excel at advanced level
iv.	Is willing to enroll for further studies in data analytics and data science to deepen skills and understanding
v.	Strong presentation skills and or is willing to be trained so that he can train colleagues and or clients.
b)	Computer literacy with very good knowledge of MS Office applications 
c)	Good report writing, presentation and speaking skills.
d)	Highly flexible, innovative, a team player, with good communication, feedback, and interpersonal and supervisory skills and able to work with a multi-cultural team within the organization.
e)	Ability to delegate clearly and have flair for attention to detail.
